He’s back……the tax man! Dan McAllister is responsible for the yearly collection of more than $4.5 billion in property taxes and the investment management of nearly $7.4 billion in the County’s Investment Pool. He is also a member of the San Diego County Employees Retirement Association, which manages investments of approximately $9.1 billion. Dan, with his vast knowledge and signature quick wit, will discuss the local economy, pensions, the tax process and where our tax dollars go. Bring your questions.

The Kensington Talmadge Community Association invites you to join us for the annual tree lighting in Kensington Park. The tree will be lit at approximately 5:00 P.M. on Friday, November 24th. Complimentary refreshments will be provided to launch the holiday season at 4:30 P.M. We offer our sincere thanks to generous contributors from local businesses, community groups and residents. We will serve hot chocolate, compliments of Ponce’s and cookies, compliments of Kensington Cafe.

Bring the family and enjoy the season with a festive community celebration! After the lighting, take a short walk to the Autism Center to see David Urban’s alpine village.
